With all the amazing lava activity happening on the Big Island of Hawaii I decided I wanted to take a Helicopter tour of it. By this time I knew I was moving back to the mainland so I saw this as a last treat to myself. How could I leave & NOT get any pics of a lava fissure after living there for over 4 years. Fire Spinning Shoot!
Fire dancing in Hawaii is as traditional as palm tress & coconuts. I took some great fire spinning pics the other day with my new friend Conner Clark who is very well trained at it. He has gone far beyond just spinning fire, he has learned the traditional Chinese martial style that fire spinning is traditionally based on. If you have ever seen Jackie Chan kick butt in his movies he almost always at one point uses a rope as a weapon, this is that style. Pretty cool to watch &

Natural Light Sunset Shoot
Finished editing the photos from my shoot at old Airport Beach Park with my newest model, Wanalee. I had planned to use my studio strobe, but like a dope I didnt bring spare batteries for the wireless transmitter. The transmitter sits on the camera and talks to the strobe, telling it when to fire.
